After Holiday Sales 50 -90% off!

There are many people out there who think that going shopping the day after or even a week after Christmas is crazy.  Who in their right mind would want to go shopping after they just shopped for numerous people in their family, friends, teachers, the mailman and the list can go on and on!  One of my favorite times of year to shop is the after Xmas sales.  It is a great time to buy any Christmas must haves for next Christmas! 

Most stores start out the day after with at least 50% Xmas items but some go as high as 70-80!  You can find anything from candy canes (which you don’t want to save for next year) to Christmas attire!  Almost every year, I buy my girls their holiday dresses for the following Christmas, I just buy a size bigger and it saves me a ton of cash.  

Its also a good time to buy items that you may need for the next holiday season such as Christmas lights, garland, ornaments and even a tree!  I always give my girls and nephew a special ornament ever year and this is the time I find them.  You can find great Disney ornaments for 70% off what they cost!

Taking my bargain deals to Europe:)

I was fortunate enough to be taking my dream vacation to Europe in with my husband.  We headed to London, Paris and Rome to explore all the wonderful amenities, history and culture.  One of the things I looked forward to most while I was over there is to experience the shopping.  Paris is known as one of the biggest fashion inspirations in the world.  Just missing fashion week in Paris by a few weeks saddened me as it ran from September 25-October 3.  I was also very intrigued to be on the look out for markets as I heard they were great places to find great buys and souvenirs for loved ones.

Packing for this trip was one of the hardest things i have ever tried to do.  Monitoring the weather is one thing, but who’s to say that will stay relevant?!  I had packed around 20 outfits and tried to utilize the same shoes and accessories since I was given strict orders by my husband that we will not be walking around all of these cities with 10 suitcases.  And then of course, I always have to figure in space to bring things back in.  I encouraged him to save as much space as possible:)

Now is the time for Summer Clearance!!

Can you believe it?  Summer was here and is now almost gone.  Labor day is a few days around and before you know it, for those of us in the Midwest, snow will be hitting the ground.  Like most of us, I am not ready to say goodbye to the warm temps, summer dresses and open toed shoes; however - I do love all the great summer deals out there.  Now is the time that stores are going to be pushing these items out the door to push fall lines and items.  From summer clothing, to summer toys to patio furniture - its a great time to buy these items! 

I just went to Kmart tonight to pick up some soda and ended up having one of the clerks get me a cart because I bought some new cushions from my outdoor patio furniture.  Originally $30 marked down to $8.99.  It will be perfect to bring out next summer and I won't have to pay full price for new ones at the beginning of the season because mine were getting pretty worn anyway.
